Purpose, tasks and scope

The purpose of the journal "Bulletin of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, series in Geography" is the publication of peer-reviewed research articles that contain original scientific results from the specialities Social Science / Geography, Planning and Development; Earth and Planetary Sciences / Computers in Earth Sciences (103 "Earth Sciences", 106 "Geography" and 193 "Geodesy and Land Management"), as well as reviews (reviews of book publications or articles; reviews-presentations of new publications; reviews of dissertation studies, etc.).

Types of publications: editor's notes, original research articles, review articles, reviews, and corrections.

Tasks of the journal:
● development of domestic scientific potential and its integration into the global scientific space;
● promotion of effective public communication of scientists, high-quality reporting, official recognition and popularization of the results of scientific research on topical issues of the theory and practice of geographical science.;
● to raise the level of geographical science, to create a discussion platform for analysis and coverage of current research in geographical science, and to exchange views through publications on relevant topics of scientific materials.
